I would like to pursue my masters in Surgery in Australia. i have completed my MBBS from India.

Question : I would like to pursue my masters in Surgery in Australia. i have completed my MBBS from India.

Answer 1: For pursuing a course of Masters in Surgery from Australia you will have to first get yourself registered with Australian Medical Council (AMC) to practise. Their website is www.amc.org.au [1] and it's the mandatory requirement to clear it and then only you can go for any clinical course at a postgraduate level. As AMC is not very easy to clear and there is an entrance exam as well I would recommend that you can also keep options open for non- clinical courses like public health, health administration and all. The duration of these courses is 1.5-2 years and work experience is not the mandatory requirement but is preferred.
