I am working with a Software Firm from past 2years as a Software Engineer. I have completed my BE.IT from Mumbai University in year 2006. I want to switch my career to Marketing and Management. From years down the line I cannot see my self working in this Software Field anymore. Need some guidance about my decision and how risky it is to switch it without having MBA degree in hand.

Answer 1: One would have to start from bottom when changing field of profession. Moreover without any academic background in field of marketing and management it can prove quiet difficult to get any good job in the beginning. Field of software and IT marketing can be one avenue where you can start up with. Subsequently you may specialize your self by doing some part time MBA in marketing or IT.
