Life in Singapore
Student Clubs & Activities
Cultural activities thrive in schools, such as music, dance, drama and theatre. Arts in Singapore enjoy the added dimension of a multi-cultural society, exposing international students to the different nuances of each ethnic group's cultural heritage. Where mainstream activities do not catch your eye, you will be pleasantly surprised by how many niche activities are available in our educational institutions, usually initiated by the students themselves. Examples of these include rock-climbing, wine tasting, lion dance and entrepreneurship clubs.
Students in Singapore not only work hard but play hard too. Make the most of your learning experience by joining in a few of these activities. Not only will you gain a better insight into different aspects of Singapore life, you will also form invaluable friendships with students of other cultures and races that you will treasure.
Contact your educational institution to find out what clubs and activities are available.
